I liked her first book because of the strong woman character with ethics. This one, disturbing. She compromised. Instead of Ninja skills, rifles win the battle. I stead of respecting her body she is now plying. Example, almost the first words of her new romantic life was, "Every time I see you, I get a hard on." Then, she 'hid' this man of dubious past ( after he beat her up once) by luring a bunch of drunk redneck men while in her nightgown away from where he was hiding.
Given the sexual assault of her past, I was disappointed in this turn of character.
I will read the next one, and hope for
the best.
