If you like fashion and royals, this was a fun book. You can just look at the photos or you can read the commentary by the author on the specific outfits and stories to go with them. They put a lot of thought into what they wear. It truly surprised me about the meanings of certain items. There are four sections, one each on Queen Elizabeth, Diana, Kate, and Meghan. The Queen’s has a lot of history in it. For example, on page 29, there is a photo of her changing a tire as a member of the women’s branch of the British Army during World War II. I found myself picking it up here and there and checking out more outfits and narrative. I really did not want to let it go so I bought my own copy. It is well written, has great organization, wonderful photos, and the overall graphic design is just elegant. I borrowed it on a whim and it ended up being fun. That surprised me. I should quit now.
