Greed at it worst. Another story of the ultra rich "legally" stealing what they could from those who have little or nothing. The story of the Lehman Brothers depicts how far a major financial corporation will go to make millions, all of which goes to senior corp officers. The SEC is the watchdog that supposedly stops or prevents the big financial corporations from running scams on the unknowing public. They clearly failed when investigating Lehman Brothers. The bad part is that a warning letter of Lehman's improprieties from a Senior VP was ignored by the SEC. It's disgusting that Lehman's senior officers were never punished and were able to keep their billions. Whereas the sad part is that countless people's lives, employees to homeowners were destroyed and even to this day, are trying to put their lives back together.
