"Just because it's whats done, does not mean it's what should be done." Ella said.
Fairy Godmother: I'm your Hairy Dogfather... Oh! I mean, your Fairy Godmother.
Cinderella: Mr. Lizard, I'm scared. I'm only a girl, not a princess.
Lizard Footman: And I'm only a lizard, not a footman. Enjoy it while it lasts.
Ella's Mother: I have to tell you a secret that will see you through all the trials that life can offer. Have courage and be kind.
===
Cinderella: Yes, stepmother.
Lady Tremaine: You needn't call me that. Madam will do.
===
Captain: Madam, there is no other maiden in your house?
Lady Tremaine: No!
Captain: And has your cat learned to sing?
===
Lady Tremaine: I shall tell you a story. Once upon a time, there was a beautiful young girl who married for love. And she had two loving daughters. All was well. But, one day, her husband, the light of her life, died. The next time she married for the sake of her daughters. But that man, too, was taken from her. And she was doomed to look every day upon his beloved child. She had hoped to marry off one of her beautiful, stupid daughters to the prince. But his head was turned by a girl with glass slippers. And so, I lived unhappily ever after. My story would appear to be ended.
When there is kindness, there is goodness. When there is goodness, there is magic.
"A dream is a wish your heart makes
When you're fast asleep.
In dreams you will lose your heartaches.
Whatever you wish for, you keep.
Have faith in your dreams, and someday
Your rainbow will come smiling through.
No matter how your heart is grieving,
If you keep on believing,
The dreams that you wish will come true."

Cinderella's dad marries a women which has two daughters. Cinderella becomes the maid of the house after her father passes away and is not considered as family. Her friends (animals) help make her gown much more beautiful after the royal family has invited all the maidens to a ball. Cinderella meets and dances with the prince after the her fairy god mother did her magic on Cinderella. She runs away at midnight because that's when the magic expires. The royal people went to every house for the girls to try on the glass slipper Cinderella had left behind. Her step mother locks her in her room in the attic and her animal friends come to the rescue once again. The prince and Cinderella gets married and lives happily ever after.

🧙♀️This movie was a tremendous smash at the box office, just in time to save the Disney studio from bankruptcy in 1950, when it wasn't the powerhouse it is now. A large part of the credit goes to enormously creative Disney artist Mary Blair, who originated the whole look of the movie in terms of the color schemes, background art, the animation, and so forth. "Alice in Wonderland" came next and was a bust at the ticket booth. If Walt had decided to work on "Alice" first, we probably wouldn't have a Disney empire today.

🎩 A very special tip o'the Observer's topper to the 'blue_cat' commenter below, who can't figure out why people would want to see a movie just because it had a DIFFERENT STORY! And here I thought seeing a different story was the whole point.
For a live action version of one of my favorite Disney classics, this one isn't bad. It differs a little from the iconic version, but it has some beautiful scenes and for the most part is well done. I loved the segment of "Lavender's Blue (Dilly Dilly)" and it's such a beautiful song. IMO, nothing will ever tarnish my love for the Disney original animated version from the 50's, but this is a nice movie to watch when you want something romantic and fun. I've only seen this once but I'd love to see it again.
THIS KIND OF MOVIES ARE ABSOLUTELY SCANDALOUS!! IT'S THE SAME OLD THING OVER AND OVER JUST WITH A DIFFERENT STORY. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️WHY WOULD PEOPLE WATCH THESE THINGS!! SERIOUSLY!!!
Charming. the story is predictable - cause everybody knows the story.
Cinderella is definitely a memorable movie. It has a special place in my heart as a childhood favourite! Although the storyline and end result of the movie are wonderfully put, the main character (Cinderella) is depicted as a beautiful, smart, and overall ‘perfect’ young woman. This can prompt an issue for young children, as they are being shown an unrealistic figure with a thin body, symmetrical facial features, and an overall ‘flawless’ appearance. Parents should be aware of these issues and potential consequences that might arise, such as anxiety, depression, and body dysmorphia. Granted that Disney has released gender-inclusive movies in the past (e.g. Mulan, Frozen), it would be lovely to see new movies that support and promote all genders and body types, while also shattering negative stereotypes. All in all, besides the negative aspects regarding an unrealistic portrayal, Cinderella is a great movie that displays the hardships a young woman may face, and how positivity can greatly impact an individual’s life! 3/5

This is by far my favorite feature length Disney movie. They don't make the classics like this one anymore and that's just sad. The animation is beautiful and of course who doesn't love adorable singing mice and a handsome prince?
I'm adding to this to say that Cinderella is perfect for everyone; adults and children. I'm in my 50s and it still makes me laugh. It's definitely one of the most romantic Disney classics ever made. If only all of the Disney movies could be as wonderful.
Hey! It's Cinderella! Don't expect a different plot!
I thought i wroth this movie down before i mean i watched it in 2013 in theathers and it was on t.v today on C.T.V AND in poland but i missed it my brother forgot about it cause we were eatting dinner.
I recently watched the movie Cinderella (2015). A timeless tale of a selfless girl and a charming prince. A Disney classic I love how well they portrayed the animated to the live action. Cinderella is definitely one of my favourite Disney princesses and her story is even better. I love how the whole movie revolves around the phrase ‘have courage and be kind’. It really shows that someone’s personality impacts others views on them. The costume design is amazing in this film. The various colours, fabrics and ball gowns throughout the film are so unique. The acting in this film from the two main characters was amazing. Throughout the film you start getting attached to them and can feel their emotions through the screen. Overall I really enjoyed this classic Disney movie. I rate this movie a 5/5.

This adaptation of Cinderella is very enjoyable and entertaining to watch. The acting was well done, and the story line was well developed. I think that making it live-action was a good choice by Disney, as it made it more modern and engaging to the audience. I liked the added details in this movie, and thought that it helped develop a connection between the viewers and Cinderella. There were also many meaningful quotes and messages in this film, that add to the importance of the story. I very much enjoyed this movie, and highly recommend that other viewers give it a try! 3.5/5

I think this movie deserves a 5/5 rating because the real life version of this movie is really well done. The storyline of this movie is the same as the cartoon version of Cinderella. The actors did a really good job with their acting, and the storyline of the story was well explained. Ella, also known as Cinderella lives with two stepsisters and a stepmother. After her mother died, her father got remarried, but unfortunately her father also dies in an accident. Ever since that day her life has not been the same. She gets treated like a maid from her step sisters and mother. Although she gets treated poorly, she still is really kind, nice and has a really pure heart. She gets the chance to go to a ball and meet the prince who needs to find a wife to marry him. Ella’s destiny will change, and will begin to have a better life after meeting a stranger. Cinderella is one of the most well known princess/character from Disney, and this movie was a remake of the original Cinderella movie, but with real life characters.
