Peach: Root canal, and by the looks of those X-rays, it's not going to be pretty.
[Dentist drills and patient screams]
Bloat: Rubber dam and clamp installed?
Peach: Yep.
Gurgle: What did he use to open?
Peach: A Gator-Glidden drill. He seems to be favoring that one lately.
Deb: [sighs] I can't see, Flo.
[Dentist picks teeth and patient screams]
Peach: Now he's doing the Schilder technique.
Bloat: Ooh, he's using a Hedstrom file.
Gurgle: That's not a Hedstrom file, it's a K-FLEX.
Bloat: It has a tear-dropped cross section. Clearly, a Hedstrom.

Life along the Great Barrier Reef is full of dangers when you are a tiny clown fish. And for Marlin, a single parent determined to protect his only son Nemo, there are constant fears and anxieties. When, on his first day of school, Nemo defies his father and swims off alone to investigate a boat, he is suddenly scooped up by a diver as Marlin helplessly watches. Marlin turns desperate as he frantically swims off in search for his son. As he passes a school of fish he bumps into Dory, an agreeable blue tang with severe short-term memory loss, who offers to help. Together this aquatic odd couple set out on an impossible mission, finding themselves in troubled waters and contending with such hazards as sharks, deadly angler fishes and a forest of jellyfish. Meanwhile, in a dentist's office overlooking Sydney Harbor, Nemo has landed in a fish tank that is home to a colorful group of characters who want to initiate him into their gang. When word of Marlin and Dory's ocean adventures gets back to Nemo, he is so thrilled to learn of his father's search for him that he becomes motivated to move forward with a daring escape plan of his own.

Two clownfish, Marlin and his wife Coral are admiring their new home in the Great Barrier Reef. They are protecting their clutch of eggs that are due to hatch in a few days. Coral sees a barracuda a short distance away. Marlin tells Coral to get back into the anemone but she tries to protect their eggs. The barracuda then attacks them and Marlin attempts to defend his wife but the barracuda knocks him out. When he regains consciousness, he finds that the barracuda has eaten Coral and all but one of their eggs. He names the last remaining egg Nemo, a name that Coral liked.

The thing that drew me to "Finding Nemo" was the fact that it features ocean/marine life and that it takes place in Sydney, Australia. It's a cute, very well done movie with hilarious moments. Ellen Degeneres steals the show as Dory, the adorably forgetful fish
A funny, sweet, and charming animated film by Pixar. The story has a lot of heart, and the characters are adorable. A great summer movie for the whole family!

One of the all time best Disney movies.
A father, whose son is captured by nonchalant traffickers, travels great distances facing dangers and unsuspecting odds while traversing two worlds, two countries. No ocean is too deep no distance too great for this father's mission is to reunite with his son.
I liked this cartoon DVD. The graphics are very well done. It almost looks like the real ocean and fish. The story is strong. The family bonds and friendship bonds are strong in this story. The community works together very well. This is Part I. Part II will be Finding Dory.
Take a trip to the EAC to search for Nemo and meet the quirky characters along the way
As an ocean creature enthusiast (especially aquatic mammals), and even though I'm very much an adult, I'll probable be forever smitten with this movie. The visuals (animation, characters, and backgrounds) are stunning, and the story is very sweet, in spite of a few moments of potential heartbreak, which Disney always seems to include, even though it can be tough for smaller kids to experience. I suppose we tend to appreciate positives more when faced with negatives. That and a story has to have a hero and a villain to keep it interesting. That was a little deeper than I intended to go with this comment. Anyway, I highly recommend this movie. I have bought it a couple of times (DVD and Blu-Ray, back when I upgraded my player).

A really fun and sweet movie, and of course with so many great quotable lines. Visiting the aquarium was forever changed 'look mom/dad it's Nemo!!!'
