The twenty-seventh entry in the #1 New York Times bestselling series isn’t just the biggest case of Stephanie Plum’s career. It’s the adventure of a lifetime. When Stephanie’s beloved Grandma Mazur's new husband died on their wedding night, the only thing he left her was a beat-up old easy chair…and the keys to a life-changing fortune. But as Stephanie and Grandma Mazur search for Jimmy Rosolli’s treasure, they discover that they’re not the only ones on the hunt. Two dangerous enemies from the past stand in their way—along with a new adversary who’s even more formidable: Gabriela Rose, a dark-eyed beauty from Little Havana with a taste for designer clothes. She’s also a soldier of fortune, a gourmet cook, an expert in firearms and mixed martial arts—and someone who’s about to give Stephanie a real run for her money. I love these books!

I love this series! It's funny and has just enough action to distract from all that's going on in the world, without causing any nightmares. And, I'm really looking forward to the new spinoff series. My only negative comment is, why in the world did Janet, or was it the publisher, name the book "Fortune and Glory"? One of the trademarks of this series is the numbered titles. The book's main title should have been "Tantalizing Twenty-seven", rather than using that only as the subtitle. As I almost didn't read the book, because I didn't recognize the title as one in the Stephanie Plum series, I'm wondering if the title choice may have negatively affected her book sales.

Twisted 26 is the story about the lost keys after Grandma s husband dies.

I'm hoping Fortunw and Glory 27 is good.

Please end this boring, same old story series.

I still enjoy the Stephanie Plum books. They are just some light hearted fun. I do wish she would choose between Range and Joe.

Time for the series to end. Glad I got this from the library and did not waste any money. This series lost its appeal a long time ago. I gave the previous book a chance because the reviews said Stephanie's character was reevaluating her pathetic life. That book was OK, still not good. This one is back to the same old crap. Stephanie's character is completely unlikable to me and seems like nothing but a booty call. I can't really blame the male characters, she acts like one. Maybe Lulu can give her a few tips and she can start making some extra cash. Unless Stephanie blows up in one of her cars in a future book, I am done reading any other books in this series. Don't recommend.

I really think this is one of the better plots that Janet has come up with!

This book, like Evanovich’s last Stephanie Plum book, was disappointing.
It’s the same old characters, same underwhelming plot, and nothing more.
Perhaps it’s time for Plum to get married and the series to end.
