Nutshell: Good book about taking responsibility for your own accidental actions.

A small creature named Lola accidentally knocks over a pitcher of red drink on a white chair and knows someone will be angry. She decides to leave the house and hide at the library until she is grown up. Along the way she meets other animals who all have had accidents and didn't know what to do and join her on her way to hide. In the end she discovers that everyone has accidents and that the right thing to do is to do what you can to make amends.

The book is a great lap and bedtime read. The illustrations, which are reminiscent of Richard Scarry, help to start a conversation about responsibility in a friendly and comforting way.
