Good movie kind of weird though. Some of the things that happened were kind of questionable but still a good movie. If you are a MCU fan you should watch this.

It was good, but it's also a 'meh.'

Spider-man is getting too modern

Well it's based on a comic book so don't expect things to make a lot of sense. Just sit back and enjoy the ride, as they say. We liked Tom Holland's portrayal of "Spidey" - He brings a different dimension to the role. (We liked the previous Spiderman actors as well.) It's just a fun movie - don't read too much into it.

I really enjoyed this movie a lot. Tom Holland's Spiderman was very endearing and likeable. The movie was a breath of fresh air. I found the movie very funny and very entertaining and I thought it tied well into the rest of the Marvel universe. Spiderman is an underdog throughout most of this film and I couldn't help but root for him. Michael Keaton made a great villain. Some of the special effects were a bit fake-looking, but overall this was a lot of fun.

Don't listen to the bad comments on this movie. It's fresh style was a very nice change of pace from Tobey Mcguire and Andrew Garfield's versions. My dad is in his late 50's and usually hates superhero movies, and he actually enjoyed it. This one has hints of Deadpool and doesn't beat the origin story to death like the other versions.
Literally my only critique would be spiderman looks really cartoony and unrealistic in some scenes, but that's expected with any marvel film. I was very impressed by this one! Hope I don't overhype it but still 5/5!

I don't understand how are these movies made. This was a horrible movie, the plot was a complete joke. This is a remake starting from scratch and every time they use a difference actor. My fave cast member was Tobi Mcguire, when S.P. was great.

Fans who don't like changes to old formulas or patterns might not enjoy the differences in this compared to previous Spiderman films, but I found it fun and very enjoyable. It assumes viewers already know Spiderman's origin-story and takes place after the events of 'Captain America: Civil War', so starts a refreshing new chapter instead of rehashing the same material all over again. I enjoyed the new spin on the Vulture villain, the way this Peter Parker looks and lives like a real high school student, and how the cast is more ethnically diverse in a very matter-of-fact way, all of which makes it feel more like real life. Whereas the previous two movie incarnations of Spiderman leaned a bit more towards classic comic-book-style melodrama in many parts (which I say as a graphic novel fan), this version feels more realistic in the way it handles characters' dilemmas, perils, etc. Overall a good addition to the Marvel movie-verse!

My general impression was that Spiderman had been done to death but this version is like a breath of fresh air.
Plenty of humour and a youthful (and diverse) cast keeps it fresh and upbeat. I personally love that there's a lot less CGI and more wirework type stunts too (check out the DVD extras for more on Tom Holland's amazing dance/stunt skills).

This is a 2017 American superhero action drama---the second Spider-Man film reboot and the sixteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Directed by Jon Watts, the film shows Tom Holland as Spider-Man (Peter Parker), alongside Michael Keaton and Robert Downey Jr, and focuses on Parker's high school life.
Although Peter Parker nicely tries to balance his high school life with being Spider-Man, while facing the Vulture, his actions don't appear exciting and thrilling.

Many quotes in IMDb including this:
How do you think your buddy Stark paid for that tower, or any of his little toys? Those people, Pete, those people up there, the rich and the powerful, they do whatever they want. Guys like us, like you and me... they don't care about us. We build their roads and we fight all their wars and everything. They don't care about us. We have to pick up after them. We have to eat their table scraps. That's how it is. I know you know what I'm talking about, Peter.
