Considering that the universe has had billions of energetic years of development, these physicists are doing awesome work to understand it.
I enjoyed this book even tho' some theories are difficult to understand.

The worst story ever told. I heard this author present a lecture at Carleton University, and thought it was really great. So I decided to read one of his books, but apparently he can't write.

I'm not really sure who this book is for. Maybe it would be a good summary review peppered with some human interest for physics graduate students, but this book glazes over incredibly complicated stuff as if the reader already understands it. I'd say about half of the book is interesting, and half is incomprehensible. Ultimately a disappointment, as Krauss is a great lecturer and speaker.

A most fascinating and incredibly interesting book, taking the reader from the early beginnings of serious physics to the present advances in quantum physics, both in general and in regard to the latest discoveries using the Large Hadron Collider.
Although I admit I am unqualified to review this book, comprehending only small amounts of quantum physics, this physicist is quite good at explaining the unexplainable.
Highly recommended, with some interesting asides within.
