With Anna Gunn as the lead you know this is gonna suck.

Wall Street seems to be a creepy place to work unless you’re a ruthless, untrustworthy, backstabbing money grubber.
Great financial drama featuring women and the cut-throat environment they’re willing to take on and winning is everything. Like the Olympics I guess.

Very disappointing. Not the film hoped for. Why about a person/female being stupid?

I liked the movie, though never liked the kind of women who act like men on the job.

movie was okay, but I wanted it to be a little more resolved. It felt like a lot of things were left open in the end. I gave it 3 1/2 stars because Anna Gunn was great, and the script moved well, but more could have been done with this

Bad. Wish I had not wasted my time. Supposedly strong woman theme didn't pan out, backstabbing, obvious plotline... dumb dumb dumb.

Quite a good movie if you don't mind the fact there is not one likeable character. I thought it well acted and moved right along.

This is a movie I'd might recommend to my financial adviser and then check back to see if it has plausibility legs. Otherwise much made regards this being made (written, produced, directed etc) by women to which I say "bully for you." Will always see "Skylar" when Anna Gunn is on screen which isn't so bad I suppose.

Too easy to see what's going to happen. I can't decide if the acting was bad because of the script or just bad acting. The players are very transparent so there is really no real sleuthing needed. It reminds me of a B rated horror movie where you are just looking at the screen saying "Of course they're hiding in the closet, don't you see that?"

Boring, dull, slow moving and pushes a not-at-all subtle "hidden agenda". Can't recommend this movie, even if free from the library!

What, you never been called by a headhunter before?
-Don't you know that's why they call this place "the departure lounge"? I'm the only sucker who's been here more than a decade.
-So why do you stay?
Uh... Well, it ain't for the paycheck.
You know as well as I do social media has overtaken the world. There's Facebook, there's Instagram,
there's Snapchat, there's Twitter... and if you are anything like me... privacy is the most important thing.
Knowing that nobody can get that information about you. That's the word. Security and safety.
John, I just don't want to make the wrong move here.
-Well, that sounds like fear. And that's not the same thing as instinct. You know why this business is a young person's game? It's the lack of doubt.
So you think I should keep it going?
-I'm not gonna tell you what to do, Naomi. But if the numbers check out, then it sounds like... what we're talking about is a rumor here. And rumors, they're the wild card. You can't control them. ...

Everyone likes to think their company's a unicorn.
... what's that thing that really makes you... want to get up in the morning?
-Well, for me, I guess, the simplest answer is... l like money. I do. I like numbers. I like negotiating. I love a challenge. Turning a no into a yes. But I really do like money. I like knowing that I have it. ... But I am not going to sit here and tell you that I only do what I do... to take care of other people, because it is okay to do it for ourselves. For how it makes us feel. Secure? Yeah. Powerful? Absolutely. I am so glad that it's finally acceptable... for women to talk about ambition openly. But don't let money be a dirty word. We can like that too.
You know what's weird about the whole privacy thing?
Half the world is paranoid and the other half's password is "password."
