I am a holistic medical provider and I am NOT a fan of "The Secret." The idea of manifesting is very harmful to many people. Trauma, illness, death and other serious life events are not something anyone manifests or creates. Believing this is the case adds insult to injury and self shame and judgment. It is one thing to imagine manifesting a job promotion, or a new necklace you wanted (as the book does), but seriously, think of the implications when your house gets broken into or you find out you have cancer! I wish this book would go away.

I enjoyed this book more than the book it was based on. I just could never get completely into The Secret but I find this book a little easier read (it's a lot shorter) and the examples of how people incorporated The Secret into their lives helped me understand the process a bit better.

I might even take another run at reading The Secret!
