Meek Mill is a very interesting rap artist. A little background info; starting his rapping career in 2011 after signing onto a record deal with an Atlanta-based record label called “Grand Hustle” afterward he signed with fellow rapper Rick Ross to Miami- based “Maybach Music Group”. He released his first album called “ Dreams and Nightmares” in 2012. Recently, his new album “Dreams worth more than money” was released and everyone is talking about it. In my opinion, I do not believe there should so much hype over it. I feel that since Meek recently got into a relationship with female rapper, Nicki Minaj and also is going on tour with her, that he is getting more popular from that. If Nicki hadn’t taken him under her wing Meek wouldn’t be so recognized as he is today. I enjoyed some tracks from this album , some of his music is okay. But I am not sucha big fan of Meek himself. As a huge fan of the OVO crew (Drake being the leader) through recent, complications through twitter, Meek is getting himself into more trouble and making a big scene to possible get his album more listeners. In my opinion, if your going to make music; make music that stands out among others that actually apply to the rap community and make sense. I feel Meek could have done a better job. I rate this album 5/10 only because of the disappointment of lackness in his songs. Meek Mill can do better.
