If you enjoyed watching season 1, do yourself a favor and stop there. I guess the 'powers that be' decided they needed to make it into a soap opera to be more titillating. In the process they completely ruined the sweet wholesome-ness that made us love these books and not a single story in this new drama is in Debbie's books. So very disappointing!

Spoiler alert! If you want to skim and see if it's worth your time:

Jack Griffith accepts a weekly column in Seattle (still lives in Cedar Cove) and starts drinking again.
Eric Griffith starts working with Warren Saget against his Dad's advice and is unwittingly being framed by Warren to take the fall on his criminal dealings.
Grace Sherman starts up a 'friendly' relationship with Will (again) and is torn between Will and Cliff.
Justine Lockhart and Seth Gunderson are apart due to her letting him go up to Alaska to fish and she's got a new man complicating her life - Luke - a war vet with PTSD. He's in love with Justine and kisses her, confusing her feelings.
Alison Cox is working at the library with Grace and she is being cyber-bullied so Grace decides to confront the bully's mother - a high school nemesis of Grace's.
Peggy Beldon is being stalked and she gets Roy McAffee (the town's PI) to look into it - it's a former acquaintance of Peggy and Bob's who assaulted Peggy years ago; Bob doesn't know and considers this man his friend and invites him into their lives.
