Seventeen-year-old Dillon Yates never dreamed that setting up a prank Twitter account for his vice principal could land him in a lockdown juvenile facility. But this is Blackburn, Massachusetts, where zero tolerance for minors is a way of life. Leading the movement is Judge Joe Scali, who gives speeches about getting tough on today's wild youth. But Dillon's mother isn't buying Scali's line. She hires P.I. Spenser to find the truth behind the draconian sentencing.

I’m glad Ace Atkins continued with the Spenser series. Thank you, Parker Estate.

I was quite apprehensive, but Atkins did get the tone right. The action scenes and dialogue are very close to Parker. Hawk must be a very difficult character to write, and plays only a minor role in this book (perhaps because of that), but again, Atkins got it right. I'll go ahead and read the rest of the new ones now because of this one.

Ace Atkins does Spenser almost as well as Parker did. Great read.
