The Secret Of Grim Hill:
This book is amazing. I read the first one when I was in grade 4, and I've loved the whole series ever since. It's about a teenage girl named Cat who has to deal with the struggle of moving to a new house in the middle of nowhere. On top of that, she has to make friends, take care of her sister, and try to make a good impression in her new high school. It doesn't make it easier that she starts to notice something eerie about her area... This book is really interesting, gripping, and enjoyable. It brings a new twist to regular fantasy stories, and brings out the evil folklore that you wouldn't usually see in a book. I liked it a lot, and I would recommend it for girls (or boys) age 10-14 who like a good mystery and a little bit of scares. The Secret of Grim Hill will definitely get you hooked on to the series, and if you take my advice and read it, I hope you like it as much as I did!
Love this Book!!!!!!!!!! I haven't read anything for the next couple weeks just thinking about it.
Really good book!!!!I would recommend this to a friend.I liked how it had the name "goth girl" for the creepy fairy who told Sookie the facts about Grim Hill, instead of "Lucinda".Also I liked when the author showed different examples of situations that happened so that they didn't have to cancel soccer practice on Saturday.ASB,(awesome suspense book)!
i read it earlier this year i just found out it was part of the forest of reading!!!!!!!!!
Not really scary, but when I read it I was only 5, so I got a bit scared. I no longer read the grim hill series, but I've read this one and the first book. Cat was good.
