Cinderella has to be one of the most classic Disney movies of all time. This well-known story is full of magic, adventure, and love. I like that Cinderella is a strong character from the beginning of the story, and that she was kind even when she had been through so much. The music and characters are all wonderful and entertaining, and you easily become invested in the storyline. I love the Fairy Godmother, and Cinderella’s animal friends, who bring a lot of joy to the film. If you have not seen this movie, I would highly recommend it! It is a classic fairytale, and one that you will always remember. @PenelopeScriptor of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

Cinderella is definitely a memorable movie. It has a special place in my heart as a childhood favourite! Although the storyline and end result of the movie are wonderfully put, the main character (Cinderella) is depicted as a beautiful, smart, and overall ‘perfect’ young woman. This can prompt an issue for young children, as they are being shown an unrealistic figure with a thin body, symmetrical facial features, and an overall ‘flawless’ appearance. Parents should be aware of these issues and potential consequences that might arise, such as anxiety, depression, and body dysmorphia. Granted that Disney has released gender-inclusive movies in the past (e.g. Mulan, Frozen), it would be lovely to see new movies that support and promote all genders and body types, while also shattering negative stereotypes. All in all, besides the negative aspects regarding an unrealistic portrayal, Cinderella is a great movie that displays the hardships a young woman may face, and how positivity can greatly impact an individual’s life! 3/5

This is by far my favorite feature length Disney movie. They don't make the classics like this one anymore and that's just sad. The animation is beautiful and of course who doesn't love adorable singing mice and a handsome prince?

I'm adding to this to say that Cinderella is perfect for everyone; adults and children. I'm in my 50s and it still makes me laugh. It's definitely one of the most romantic Disney classics ever made. If only all of the Disney movies could be as wonderful.

Hey! I'm your fella, Cinderella!

Believe it, or not, I was ("once-upon-a-time"), very much, madly in love with the Cinderella character in this excellent, animated motion picture. Yep. That's right. When I was just a very small tyke the sweet, singing Cinderella was one of my many-many movie-girlfriends.

With grace and charm, Cinderella beautifully spins this traditional story, delightfully adding some comic embellishments to the overall storyline, which include a couple of very cute, little mice named Gus and Jaq who befriend our poor, put-upon heroine.

In my very biased opinion, Cinderella (the movie) is, without question, one of Disney Studios' most enchanting and spellbinding, animated fairy tales of all. Cinderella is a timeless classic that, once it weaves its magic, is sure to live on in your heart forever.... Tra-la-la-la-la.

I saw the commercial on TV that Cinderella is out but they just made a new Diamond Edition a few years ago in 2012 and I have the book called My Side of the Story: Cinderella & Lady Tremaine. However, I got the book My Side of the Story: Peter Pan & Captain Hook first. The last book I got was My Side of the Story: Aurora & Maleficent and I got it on Thursday June 27 i never heard here kitty kitty i just heard kitty kitty i never knew gus gus was making him as he walked the cat i mean i never heard thats lusafie lusafie thats him it does not sound lusfie not funny lusafie mean i never heard now listen here and she said chascing lucsafer thats bad just learn to like cats i never understood that i always thought a dog is sick i didn'r hear sometime he i heard be nice to him i didn't know what they were doing by jumping my brother said that they were see who will be the one going frist the mice i never saw a goose i always hear break it easy blockbock not take it easy cluck - cluck then rage rage down not let go let go now poor little guss i heard poor little guy my mom always thought it was funny when he carry a lot of corn i thought they were chesse and my said least he got alway i heard as a kid witty hide way i never heard morning noon night i just heard mornging noon night i just heard mumbling i never heard sleep well as if you care she ansawer don't forget they mending i heard ending i did 't know it was a bag on lanyre i thought it was just something wearid and saying oh i thought it was the cat never heard the dishise you did this on purple i always think she says you are not perfect now what did you do i heard now what did she do the mousse i never heard the big ugly mouse under my teacup i didn't your not feel let it go not let him go never heard it anyone and i heard poor little guy not guss never heard oh lusifer won't you ever learn never heard it hold your tug i never heard it i didn't hear her stepmom said clean it wash them i didn't hear for what and the other things i never hear Easter and for the cat the bath so thats why he was not happy and i didn't know what the king was thinking about but he's scares his oh hes pacent saw his to merry soon so he was dreaming to see his grandchildern i heard he wants to see his friends i'm lonley in this desoto i didn't know whitch old palace boy but its his son i hear padie can it i heard for night not tonight i heard arre not understand i never hear the pear shop o toad i never knew he made a mess the cat with dirty paws by the dust pan you nedo thing not mean old tthing i did not hear you clumsy you didn't it pn purpose its your falt girls girls rember abover all slef contoral oh her saying yes why thats us and i'm so elageble but i heard i'm so wonderful i heard why at a i didn't know they were making so it does did not hear i did not hear i did not hear did you relized why did you said i thought she said mother you are inviting her if i heard it she said the dress was her mothers its said the dress was her mothers its old the mouse said well maybe its a little old fashion but she'll fix it i hear only wow thats a big one not oh now what do they want everytime she wants a minete not everytime shes got a mintete thats the time they beginet and i heard and the picking and the packing and i heard kicking not keep her busy didn't understood what she said i hear work work oh hurry 2 times i heard havey havey i heard cat it with fake sciossers not with the sciosors oh levaing the sewing to the women you go get some picnic but its streming or hurry gus gus or surprise i heard splling arowend thid sa sa i heard this sad or dead or trash real carfully i heard here kitty i heard lusafer not lusafie we can use this gus gus my brother always laughed that the cat has a nose square face

It wasn't the first disney movie where the main character had a cute animal(s) sidekick, but it is the one that popularized it. The story is competently told, and by all means it IS a classic, but its message is a bit old fashioned and unrealistic.

Once Upon A Time... (In this under-appreciated Disney delight from 1950) - A pretty, young woman (who is continually berated and abused by her nasty stepmother and stepsisters) is given one fabulous night to finally fulfill her dreams (thanks to her kindly fairy godmother).

With grace and charm, Cinderella beautifully spins its traditional story, adding some priceless comic embellishments to the overall storyline. IMO - The mice characters in Cinderella are amongst the studio's best, and the story moves along at a fairly good clip.

Cinderella is definitely a fairy tale classic of wonder and joy which is in the same league as that of Pinocchio and Sleeping Beauty. Without a doubt - This animated triumph is sure to please the young and the young-at-heart.

This is hands down the best version of Cinderella out there. The music is beautiful. The acting is fantastic. It is star studded- Brandy, Whoopi Goldberg, Whitney Housten, Bernadette Peters, and even Jason Alexander. It is also the most racially diverse Cinderella you will ever see. Perfect for kids and adults a like, this movie will make for A Lovely Night.
Note- This movie features songs by Rodgers & Hammerstein, not the songs from the Disney version. It's okay though, because they are better. And also are sung by the whole cast.

Having only seen it in childhood, it was a little surprising to watch it again, surprising because it was so ridiculous and even immoral. Cinderella's family are extremely flat characters who have less presence than their cat, and their nastiness is an utter caricature and left unexplained. The main male character, the prince, is flatter than a pancake and falls in love after seeing and dancing with a woman once! (what message does that send to girls about men?) Worst of all is the main message, namely that hope begets magic which begets results; obviously false. The most enjoyable characters were the mice!

The movie “Cinderella” is a classic favourite. I must admit “Cinderella” was the first Disney movie I ever watched and ever since then, Cinderella is still my most favourite princess. I sometimes wonder if it will stay like that forever. The whole idea, imagination, and creativity amuse's me so much. Everything about this movie is amazing, but I only have one question regarding her glass slipper. If her glass slipper perfectly fits her, how did it fall off in the first place? I would rate this movie a 5/5 and I definitely recommend everyone to watch this movie or at least read the books. It is a classic favourite for a reason

"A dream is a wish your heart makes
When you're fast asleep.
In dreams you will lose your heartaches.
Whatever you wish for, you keep.
Have faith in your dreams, and someday
Your rainbow will come smiling through.
No matter how your heart is grieving,
If you keep on believing,
The dreams that you wish will come true."
