Trying to be convincing:
This is "as above, so below." That phrase is believed to be the key to all magic. It means that what is within me is outside of me. As it is on earth, so it is in heaven. As I am, so are my cells, so are my atoms, so is God. Basically, as I believe the world to be, so it is.

Add a CommentAnother entry into the "lost footage" horror genre but I would not label it run of the mill! Acting is decent and the storyline wasn't too predictable. I've been to the Catacombes in Paris and it's pretty wild. Good film.
I usually don't bother with these sort of films but I found this one entertaining
Another lost footage films this one following a group of urban explores and researchers on a quest or fool's errand to find the Philosopher stone in the catacombs of Paris. Overall this was an entertaining movie, the film used a claustrophobic setting and shock scares to engage the audience and most were well done.
For good underground, claustrophobic horror, watch “The Descent” instead.
This film made me dizzy
A pseudo-adrenaline rush type thrill ride through underground caves in Paris allegedly;is the only reason i was probably able to make it through this extremely self-absorbing,and total NONSENSE celluloid that is sleep inducing also. The rewind button was kind of necessary for me to a certain extent.
"As Above, So Below" horror film was an interesting, entertaining but contrived film about a female university professor in London following her past dad's footsteps in trying to find an ancient medicinal stone--then going through several cultures such as Iran, and then ending up on a treasure hunt in the underground catacombs of Paris. It is a cross between a cave exploration, tomb exploration, and a haunted house. The general disrespect for the dead in the catacombs may cause one to believe that the professor and her catacomb exploring professionals will not make it out so well. I was sleepy and then I decided to watch this film, and I did not fall asleep, so the film was not boring. There are some surprises in it.
A good sci-fic premise that began promising but became convoluted in its 2nd half when the story went to absurdity. Nonetheless, an A for efforts for the writers and the lead actress.
Interesting concept but had trouble following it.
Great movie, loved the real life setting of the catacombs. Made it so much more real and creepy. Standard POV camera work associated with most movies now-a-days, so deal with that if you mind that sorta thing. Loved the concept it was a seriously creepy movie and fun to watch, a must see for sure.
