Fred Daly is a homeless man who is a victim of the recession. He lives in his parked car in solitude. His life becomes a little happier after he meets and befriends a drug addict named Cathal whose positive attitude and free spirit lifestyle have an effect on Fred's outlook. As they share the good times and the bad, Cathal and Fred begin to remember and enjoy the simple pleasures of life once more. One day, Fred meets a beautiful music teacher named Jules at the community swimming pool. She lives nearby and the two begin to develop a relationship. Fred struggles to hide his homelessness from her even as he becomes more deeply involved with her. Will he succeed and how will she react if he doesn't?

Enjoyable video with good character development. Themes of tragedy and hope combined. The first 10-mins may feel painfully slow as main character's situation is presented. Overall, it's worth viewing.

Wonderful tale of Humanity. A great story of "doing what you gotta do" with a realistic/un-Hollywood-ish ending. All in all, a must see!

Well done! So unlike the common stereotypes of the kind of folk who homeless. And loved the catch22 of the 'system'. Great detail and acting and loved the music. All so subtle.

This video starts off with the most effective example of near total isolation than I have ever seen before. The relationship between the two men (one old, the other young with emotional and drug issues) is the heart of the film but there are other players who also touch the life of Fred Daly (Daily) in a life long manner.

There are violent themes and tragedy but for those who like a good drama, I would recommend this highly.

Good film. Shows what can happen to a person who is down and out.

Nice little look at the relationship between two men living out of their cars. Good acting, relatively succinct and confident. Could have maybe been tightened up a little.

It was O.K for a home TV movie. I was entertained and interesting. But it was NOT worth the long library wait or the price to rent from a Red Box. I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way.
