Very fanciful. A teenage girl, like her aunt before her, keeps going back to relive only parts of their lives that they like. Her aunt stopped reliving the past, but I am not so sure the teenage girl will get out of it. It's an interesting movie. I like it

English audio track follows a different script than the English subtitles.

When teenaged Makoto discovers she has the ability to leap several hours back through time she immediately sets about making her life a little easier; sleeping in, making Saturday nights last forever, and manipulating the people around her. But she soon discovers that temporal tampering not only comes at a cost, but she is not the only one playing the game. Pretty standard anime aimed squarely at lovestruck Japanese girls which nevertheless contains some entertaining passages (Makoto’s first few “practice leaps” are worth a chuckle) set to a wistful musical score. An early trip through time is particularly impressive, coming across as a series of animated Van Gogh canvases. Just a little too cute for my tastes.

When I first attempted this film I gave up after 10 minutes. Then, based on the +ve reviews by professional critics, and my general fondness for Japanese anime, I gave it a second shot. The animation was pretty good, but I just could not get myself into teenage romance, and teenage talks. I guess if you are part of the 'younger' crowd, you will get much more out of it then me. Dubbed in English and no subtitles are required.

A combination of sadness, romance, and an enthralling storyline made this anime perfect!

Beautiful and romantic, but also heart-wrenching. "Time waits for no one." Objectionable content: I'm not sure if this is true in the English version, but in the Japanese version, there's some language and mild peril/violence.

Great movie. Loved it to pieces, even thought there were some loop holes. i just have one question. Why did he still have to leave at the end? he could have stayed and left later. it makes me angry and sad, the ending was sad.

This was a truly delightful film! I picked it up because I saw this movie on someone else's list and I wasn't disappointed. This isn't just a simple movie about a girl travelling through time, but a deeper message about how valuable time is. "Time Waits For No One". 5 stars!

Japanese movies always have endings where your left wanting more.
But it was funny.
