I have been reading this series for a while and I do like it, the only thing I don't care for is the end is always a cliff hanger. You have to get the next book to see what happens. That said, I do like the main characters in this book. While Claire and Shane's relationship along with Eve and Michael's have more things that get in their way, they still manage to stay together and live in Glass House. They are dealing with Mr. Bishop, Amelie's father, who wants to take over Morganville and let the vampires run wild. Now I am looking forward to seeing what happens in the next book.

Better than book 3, the plot is getting interesting again, there's a bit less nonsense about what the girls are wearing and how hot their boyfriends are. This series is not going to win any literary awards, but sometimes it gets the little details right; Claire picking the least worse of two rumpled t-shirts to wear, or the evil vampire's philosophical words about banding together in the face of a common enemy. Also, there's another cliffhanger ending -- again!

This is one of the best series I have read. I love Sean and can not wait for each book to come out. I highly recommend these books!
