Very interesting book. The photos are very good and there's lots of information on Polish culture and history. A very helpful bonus for the cook is that measurements are in both the metric and English systems. Found this cookbook one of the best I've seen!

Lots of wonderful descriptions of Polish life and customs combine with the traditions of food to create a cookbook with pizazz. Great photographs of techniques for anyone to attempt the recipes. My favorites are the home made pasta noodles, white borscht, pork with prunes, red cabbage.
