I enjoyed the narrative style of this book and found it very interesting. The author is a close friend of Boris Berezovsky, so he has a very biased view of the oligarchs and the Yeltsin regime. It was a total whitewash on that account, especially if you've read David Satter's Darkness at Dawn.
It's a shame what happened to Alexander Litvinenko. Unfortunately, it seems like there's no place for honest people in Putin's Russia.

Today, President Putin(ex-kgb) is re-elected under a cloud of corruption...

Corruption is the wheel that runs this government in Russia.

This book is about a true, passionate ex-kgb member who has lived and died (murdered) to expose the truth of the Russian government under Putin.
