This was my favourite book of the series. The love story I had been waiting for. I felt cheated by the fact that it happened so quickly with no time for romance in between. The ghost was a lot more prominent in this story which really took away from the romantic story. I loved the series overall but felt like the first two romances were given lots of time to grow and blossom while this one wasn't. Still I enjoyed the series and loved the ending.

I was looking forward to this one because it has my favorite trope: Friends to Lovers. But alas, it was overshadowed by the subplot of the annoying ghost in the house. I was SO over it by the time I got to this book, and it played an even more prominent role in this one. Sad, because otherwise the story between the two main leads was great, I just wanted more and a little slower burn. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough room for that with the psychopathic ghost as the subplot.

Good read. My first Nora Roberts.
Good story, flow, interesting characters but not that spooky (which suits me fine).
