Three seminal pieces of work shot in the 70's by Canada's award-winning author. The first film, The Clinton special: a film about the Farm show, chronicles a group of actors (Paul Thompson and the Theatre Passe Muraille) who in 1972 went into an Ontario farming community to build a play of what they saw and learned. The second film, Sons of Captain Poetry documents the work of bpNichol and captures the artist/writer/sound performer and uncovers what made him influence a generation of North American and European poets and writers. The third film, Carry on crime and punishment, is a slapstick docu-drama that follows a couple of crooked Canadian poets who try to kidnap a dog.
