Both my husband and I enjoy this series but for different reasons. It has good acting, good dialogue and it is so nice to be able to see the actors. The modern dark cinematography is gratefully missing.

Sharpe’s Gold DVD.
This installment in the adventures is as good as they come. And yes, I can recommend it wholeheartedly.

Enough can not be said for this series. But I do insist that you read the books FIRST!
