I live this series as much as the number one ladies detective series by McCall Smith.
Comfortable reading like Anne of Green Gables!

Another philosophical delight! Isabel thinks about everything, questioning constantly why we do or do not, whether we should or shouldn't; the classic references are an additional joy. This author is a thinker and the series will suit thinkers best, in my opinion.

This is the second installment in an intelligently written series which is full of wit and charm. It is wonderful to escape once again to the beautiful city of Edinburgh! Highly recommended!
