A daughter, a crush on a boy, a dream of being a guitar player, wanting some privacy... A mother, a psychologist, a busy woman, soon to be married again... They live in the same household but they do not get along. One day there is a great opportunity for the daughter's band, but it's on the same day of her mom's wedding. Daughter and mother get in a fight but then some kind of magic cookie in the Chinese restaurant switched their bodies. They experience the other person's life, and start to appreciate each other more...

Freaky Friday is a great movie for teens and adults alike that will teach them the importance of putting themselves in each other’s shoes because there are challenges that come with every age group although we may not always understand it. This is a super funny and nostalgic movie that will never get old. Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan are fantastic actresses that expertly portray their mother and daughter characters. I would definitely recommend this movie to everyone. I would rate it 5/5 stars.

Ryan: OK, where are we going next, Harry's school?

Anna (in Tess's body): Oh, he can walk from here.

Harry: It's 20 blocks!

Anna (in Tess's body): Fresh air will do you good.

Harry: But what about bullies?

Anna (in Tess's body): Run fast.

Anna (in Tess's body): Like cooking: I mean, have you never heard of takeout? And cleaning: let's don't and say we did. Quality time with your kids: You know what? Quit bugging 'em. Leave 'em alone. They like it!

Welcome to the home of the Coleman family. Busy mom, rockstar daughter, and pain-in-the-neck son/brother. During an argument at a Chinese restaurant about who has a perfect life, mother and daughter (Tess and Anna) experience an earthquake that nobody else seems to have noticed! Suddenly, the next morning they are stuck in each other's bodies! It proves to be a very hilarious (and sometimes sad) experience, as they learn how to practice selflessness.
