There was much hilariousness offered in this book as Katz once again sets his silly verses to classic song tunes such as Take Me Out to the Ballgame. The illustrations were at times larger than life and in your face, adding to the funny factor. I had a hard time appreciating some of the verses because I either didn't know the song or because I had a difficult time maintaining the tune with different words inserted. But the ones I knew well such as Frere Jacques, I was able to follow and enjoy.

As with most of Katz's work, I find the potty humor and grossness factor to be better geared to the older elementary age group of 8-12. These kids will be rolling on the floor in laughter.
