White Death --- by --- Clive Cussler. Cussler has whipped up another of his trade-marked action confections consisting of equal parts action, bravery, guns and high explosives. This time a rogue scientist genetically engineers superfish he plans to release into the world’s oceans causing immense ecological harm and inevitable extinction of many of the ocean’s fish. It is up to the heroes of NUMA to stop him. You won’t be able to put this book down.

Despite the witty dialogue and the clownish attitude of the hero, Cussler's formula of throwing historical facts together with a totally unbelievable plot didn't quite work this time. A tribe of killer Eskimos, an albino doctor specializing in fish genetics who happens to be an adopted son of the tribe, a German zeppelin and a Basque leader holding historical relics. Tried too hard to bring them all together without success
