A lot of people were surprised when Mrs. Olinski's team won the sixth-grade Academic Bowl contest at Epiphany Middle School. Even more were surprised when they beat the seventh and eighth grade, too. How did it happen? Why did Noah and Nadia and Ethan and Julian make such a great team? Mrs. Olinski, returning to teaching in a wheelchair after an accident, found that the team became her answer to finding confidence and success. What she did not know, at least at first, was that her team knew more than she did the answer to why they had been chosen.

I really liked how the characters stories interwind, even before they become friends, a good read. I've seen a lot of people call it boring. It is anything but.

Four grade 6 students make up an A team to try out for the State championship Quiz Bowl. This book is quirky, funny, intelligent, and above all enjoyable.

This book was incredible. However, I think that this book should be read by kids 11 years or older because it has some sophisticated meanings and is not exactly in chronological order.

Not at all what I expected but good read.

I liked how all the characters met. I also feel like i was reading a puzzle, the stories came and fitted all together.

I can definitely see why this book was a Newberry Medal winner. Skillfully written, the jumps in the plot line worked magnificently in this case. Very funny, but also had its serious points. Definitely recommend this book.
