This is Arnold at his most Arnold - the quips - the oiled flexing - the ridiculous odds - the superhero qualities - the "wait, what story?" - the shooting, shooting and more shooting... Love it or hate it, this one's got it all. If someone were to ask "What were action movies like in the 80's?", I'd say look no further.

One of the great examples of true genre perfection. All the elements are arranged immaculately here. The violence is brutal, but it never turns ugly. The one-liners are hilarious, but never too self-conscious. The pace never drags. The protagonist never compromises.

One of the best movies ever made. I feel sorry for anyone who can't appreciate its genius.
