Book - 1989
Rate this:
The fourth of six DLB volumes devoted to the writers of Canada who use English or French as their main language of artistic expression. This volume is a companion to DLB 68, both covering authors whose careers were effectively established between 1920 and 1959. Each comprises essays on novelists and short-story writers, poets, dramatists, and other literary figures, although in DLB 68 there is a concentration of entries on important fiction writers of the period, while this volume brings together entries on a series of poets who changed the shape of Canadian literature.
