I found it a bit condescending in its tone; and tiresome in its writing style. The authors offer a sample "assessment" of a fiction and a non-fiction books to give a flavour of the content of a book club's meeting. It concludes with a helpful pair of lists of 100 fiction books and 100 non-fiction books to consider for reading in a book club.
