Completes the trilogy that began with Paradise postponed and Titmuss regained. Leslie Titmuss, now first Baron Skurfield, still has considerable influence in the constituency, although the tide is turning againt the Tories. When the Tory M.P. is found dead in his swimming-pool, clad only in handcuffs and a bikini, the new Labour candidate is confident of victory in the by-election. He is very surprised to get a call from Lord Titmuss suggesting a very confidential meeting.
