I read this aloud to my little sister and she LOVED it. She asked me to put every one the library had on hold. It was better than I expected. While using simplified language it managed to capture all of the plot points and even to include actual lines from the play. The illustrations which involved monologues or letters written by children describing how they think the characters feel and what they want. This is a very good introduction that is helpful for children and adults to become less afraid of Shakespeare.
