It has an interesting start, but then slows down and gets dull until the end. I still enjoyed it and especially enjoyed this line, "And with long graceful steps Mademoiselle Maricot walked out of the small salon and out of the story". I think it amused me to have a character that didn't matter introduced and walk right out of a story.

Another good book, not my favorite, but a nice read. Some unlikely moments, but, hey, it's fiction! Well written as are all Mrs. Christie's books.

One of Christie's stand alone books, this one is mostly set in Morocco, Africa. Having just returned from that part of the world when I read this book, I was highly amused to see that much of the treatment of tourists really hasn’t changed.

This is one of the authors more action packed stories, combining elements of thriller, mystery and spy novels into one little book. Not perhaps the best of this authors books but enjoyable nonetheless.

loved it. it was exciting and had a lot of plot twists. not a poirot or marple mystery, however. christie isn't as famous for her books that don't feature either of them, though they're just as good.

This is one of AC's better "adventure" stories.
