Fascinating. In this report, Lord Durham chastises the British Crown for everything they are doing wrong in Canada. He says if the War of 1812 were to be fought over (twenty years later) all of the colonists would join the Americans because they were so unhappy, by then, with the British neglect of the country. The Americans were thriving, while the Canadians were struggling, and these differences were becoming embarrassing. Yay, Lord Durham.
