This was well worth the time. I am a fan of the Postables and of Hallmark. I was relieved that the story line was moving forward a bit and finally Holly O'Toole shows up on the scene. The porch swing was a fitting response for Oliver and such a proven truth that he is a true gentleman from another era. Not many folks today even know why the BIG front porches were so treasured, nor do they realize how much history by word of mouth has been shared on those front porches or how the family took time to just breathe.............and with no technology needed, really touch base with children and mates on those porch swings.
I was very pleasantly surprised at the outcome and will look forward to moving forward Oliver's storyline as well as the rest of the Postables. Highly commendable for being a movie all family members can watch and not having to endure immense unkindness, violence, cursing and todays cinamatic favorite qualities. Thanks to the Libray staff for having this among their offerings and hoping for much more to come from the Postables.

Just had to add my thoughts after reading some of these negative reviews. These are NOT Hallmark Hall of Fame features, as most of what is on Hallmark movie channel is not that caliber anymore.
However, this series is charming, wholesome, romantic, and humorous brought to families by Martha Williamson. The foursome from the dead letter office bring a new dilemma to the group - divorce, friendship, forgiveness are all addressed in a significant and healing way. Can people have new beginnings after great disappointment?
See for yourself why this movie series has fans all over the world.

With all the garbage on TV and at the movies Signed, Sealed, Delivered/Lost Letter Mysteries is refreshing; something the whole family can watch without gratuitous sex and violence. Yes, some may say hokey or corny but it is worthy of a Hallmark presentation. I like clean, I like a bit of a corny romance, I like a story with a happy ending. The plots or letter mysteries are engaging and although fiction they could very well be actual human experiences. A thumbs up from me!

This film passes as a corny romance-at-work soap that does not belong with the Hallmark brand of movies. What happened to the Hallmark classics with substantial actors and scripts like "'O Pioneers!' with Jessica Lange, 'Little John' with Gloria Reuben, 'Sarah Plain and Tall' with Glen Close, 'The Locket' with Vanessa Redgrave, 'The Piano Lesson' adaptation of August Wilson's Pulitzer Prize winning play, 'To Dance With The White Dog' with Jessica Tandy and 'A Painted House' with Scott Glenn - based on novel by John Grisham." It was first aired on Hallmark Channel and not a Hallmark Hall of Fame production.

This series is for those with lots of sentimentality and who enjoy when life tries to give you a happy-ending. If you liked the movie While You Were Sleeping, you should enjoy this.

Shall stick with those labeled with "Hallmark Hall of Fame" titles.

Expect this to be what it is: a Hallmark presentation light romance. I liked it because it was clean. Don't expect any action or drama. A clean romance.

How bad can it get. I had to eject it after 20 minutes.

Well, it is a Hallmark presentation and not an amazing one at that. Nice enough if you can get through the hooky beginning, it does get better.

***Spoiler Alert***
Joey, Oliver is very good at his job, and if there's one thing that he's taught me, it's that things happen, all the time. That at first may seem all wrong, but when we have faith that something greater might be at work, all those things just end up working together for good.

What did you do?
-I went out and I bought a porch swing. Is it like the one you had when you were a little girl?
It's better.
-There's no view of the Potomac, of course, but if you look right there...
A crocus.
-It was a long winter but spring is almost here.
It's coming.

Well... It's not a very good poem. The French is poor, the imagery is cliche, and quite frankly it doesn't even rhyme. But! It has passion. And what is a poem? It is great passion pushed into little tiny words!
