Andy, now nearly 18 years old,[10] goes off to college, and his toys feel like they have been abandoned as they have not been played with for several years. Andy decides to take Woody with him to college and puts Buzz and the rest of the toys in a trash bag for storage in the attic. However, the toys are accidentally thrown out when Andy's mom finds the bag and puts it out on the curb, causing the toys to think that they are no longer wanted. They escape and decide to climb in a donation box for the Sunnyside Daycare. Woody, the only toy who saw what actually happened, follows the other toys and tries to explain they were thrown out by mistake, but they refuse to believe him.

Add a CommentLoved all of the new characters they added to this third installment, but it's nice that they kept the charm of the original. It's always fun to pick out the celebrity voices.
The first good, don't remember the second much, third brought tears. Yet to see the Keenu 1.
Andy is going to college. What happens to toys when their children outgrow them? Very good story about Woody and the gang. Buzz is hilarious when his switch gets flipped to Spanish. Enjoyed this immensely.
IMO - Out of the trio of animated "Toy Story" movies that are presently available on DVD, #3 is, by far, my absolute favorite one of all. There's no doubt about it.
Featuring lots of first-rate action, priceless humor, and intriguing adventure - "Toy Story 3" is, without question, a really outstanding triumph from Pixar Studios.
Besides good, old Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jesse returning for Round 3 - We also get to meet a whole new collection of toys where Big Baby, as well as Barbie and Ken provide plenty of entertainment that is guaranteed to please viewers of all ages.
Applause! Applause! Applause!.... With the greatest of enthusiasm your pal, ManMachine, here gives a big, roaring round of well-deserved applause for the highly-enjoyable "Toy Story 3".
Whoever says that "Sequels Suck!" obviously hasn't had the pure pleasure of watching this superbly animated flick. To date I have now had the delightful opportunity of seeing all 3 "Toy Story" flicks, and, by far, #3 is my absolute fave.
"Toy Story 3" is the sort of film that can easily be watched numerous times and with each viewing its story still remains fresh, entertaining and a pure joy. I really have to hand it to those talented folks at Pixar Studios. They certainly delivered an excellent picture that's solid fun right from the word "go".
In conclusion - "Toy Story 3" is a movie that I highly recommend. It can be enjoyed by all ages.
I was skeptical, I'll be honest. Yes, the second Toy Story was incredible, but I *gasp* doubted the Pixar wizards.
I was wrong. It was brilliant from the opening moments and gripped me until the end.
And you know, I teared up at least three times. So there.
Beautiful animation, beautiful story, and some new characters thrown into the TS universe.
Highly recommended!
I didn't have many expectations for this movie. Maybe I even expected it to be worse; how many third installments can claim to be anywhere as good as the original? And yet somehow this does, with even more clever writing. This movie was clearly made for young adults who grew up with Toy Story, but also includes some fun humor for young kids. Be prepared to go through the emotional wringer in the end, as it swings from great suspense to terror to one of the best finales I've ever seen, animated or live action.
A little Horror tossed in. Really good ending. Still high-quality Toy Story.
Hello, darlings! - #3 of the Toy Story franchise is my favourite one of all. How about you?
This movie was amazing, but seemed written more for the adults who were kids when the first movie came out. There are some pretty dark, powerful scenes in this movie.
