I was a teenager when this book came out and I enjoyed it at the time. I would like to re-read it to get an older adults viewpoint. I was written when Heilein was starting to write in a more adult oriented mindframe.

I first read this book when Heinlein published it and the world was a different place. I loved it then and I still find it okay, though his political leanings are more obvious and distracting today than then. It's worth a read every half-century-or-so.

Not his best work but well worth reading. I thought it could have been longer. but as usual Heinlein delivers first rate science fiction.
