I find that this is a great Harry Potter story. However, I do find that in parts, it can be a little.. boring almost.

Definitely, however, Umbridge is a horrible character. The story seems to indirectly reflect youths' world sometimes, for example, bullying- Harry was bullied by his cousin, Dudley and his friends, and I noted that this was something that appeared both in the Wizarding World and in the Earth World, people often think that they are better than the other person, and this happened with Umbridge and the Inquisitorial Squad. They thought that they were better than Harry & Harry's friends, just because they were pureblood and Hermione had no magical parentage, and Harry and Ron they have just hated from basically the beginning of the story.

An excellent story, however a little boring at times, but very, very good.

Five stars all the way! I love how exciting Harry Potter is and I have absolutely nothing negative to say.

In the fifth installment of the Harry Potter series we get a look into some of the past resistance movements against Voldemort, and see them begin to reemerge now that he's returned to the wizarding world. While this does take away a little of the childhood magic we experienced in the first three books, and part of the fourth, we're able to see layers and details about Harry's enemy revealed. With a new defense against the dark arts teacher, O.W.L.s just around the corner, and Voldemort on the rise once again, this book is sure to not disappoint.

The most intense and emotional read so far. I can see a lot of topics being challenged here are reflected in real world culture. I think this is my favourite of the series.

Awesome, but it's sad that Harry's godfather, Sirius Black dies. Not going to lie, you kinda hate Bellatrix Lestrange after this.

I recently read the book: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, by J.K. Rowling. This book was definitely an emotional roller coaster. You feel more attached towards Harry than ever as he goes through his fifth year at Hogwarts. The book had lots of moments where you’d have the urge to protect Harry and to make him feel better. Personally I loved the way the author described what Harry was going through. Reading the book you could tell the different emotions and conflict he was going through, which was very well described. Ron and Hermione played a big role in this book. Though they didn’t know what it felt like to be going through what Harry was going through, they still stayed by his side and comforted him. I liked how Harry was also portrayed as a leader in this book, because you can see how far he’s come since the first book. The new friendships and heartaches throughout the book really keep you entertained. I rate this book a 5/5. @peppapig of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

The final movie in the thrilling eight-part series of Harry Potter. The greatest and most eventful book yet with plenty of magic and fights against evil. I would 100% recommend to anyone who has enjoyed the earlier books. The most gripping and thrilling book yet with phot twists around every corner keeping you hooked the whole way. In the final book, Harry and his friends continue the search to defeat Voldemort and return to the school where they try to save it for the last time. My favorite part of this amazing movie must be at the climax where the school is finally confronted by Voldemort as Harry and his friends return for the final Horcruxes. This scene is extremely eventful and is impossible to stop watching. Great movie and would definitely recommend it.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the fifth installment of Harry and his adventures and struggles in the wizarding world, and this book, just like Goblet of Fire, adds another layer of depth to the world, the character and the series overall. This book takes a look at extremely mature and complex themes such as political corruption, revolution, oppression, freedom of speech and press, death and rebellion and executes it well, making it easy to understand but never underplaying the complexity of the matter making it seem more simple than it is. Developing characters, the lore and the world to another level, setting up important elements for future books that will leave their effects on these characters and this world forever. As clever as this book is, I however do not enjoy the emphasis on teen romance, understanding it is inevitable as Harry and his classmates are about 15-16 in this book, I find Rowling's execution of the matter a little disattached as she is attempting to write from the perspective of a male teen, and she was a grown woman while writing this book- it feels very cheesy at times and is my only complaint about this book. 4.5 stars out of 5! @Ace of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

In this book, the dementors make a comeback which causes Harry to use magic outside of school. Since he is a minor, it is prohibited for him to do so, so he awaits a hearing from the ministry. So many things in this book will make you want to throw it at a wall, but that's also why you can't stop reading. You're introduced to Dolores Umbridge, who in my opinion is the most irritating character. She is a pure-blood supremacist and is so unfair and rude to her students. Although, my favourite part of the whole book was when the trio created their own Defence Against the Dark Arts group to teach their peers and also learn. It was such a powerful move and made the book so much more interesting. @avacadojai of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

Order of the Phoenix is an extremely suspenseful and engaging novel, and one of my personal favorites from the Harry Potter series. A continuation from the previous installment of the series, The Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix reveals a lot more information about the characters and their pasts and reveals some surprising truths. Additionally, the characters and the plot are very well written and make for an interesting read. Overall, it's an amazing and pivotal novel that helps set the stage for the upcoming books in the series.

This book is one of my favorite books of the series. I remember as soon as I grabbed it, I couldn’t put it down. This book is filled with so much humor, and emotion, it’s hard to believe that the author was able to do so good on a book. This book is a bit sad, but it is evened out with lots of happiness throughout. I absolutely loved how the author wrote this with so much depth and feeling. This book really prepares for what happens in the next books of the series. It also resolves the problems that rose in the earlier books. I really recommend this book to anyone. And if I could I would give this a 6 out of 5 starts, since its simply that good.

This is the book where some truth gets discovered and death of close ones of Harry die. But it was so deep and interesting I really liked it anyway!!!

I think this is one of the strongest Harry Potter books that really dives into the plot and the characters' mindsets, and this book sets up the final two books of the series. It gives me chills!

5th book!

This one was great, and there was so much more depth and information than I had gotten from the movie. It was very angsty and dragged just a touch, but I still loved this entry, and the addition of Luna Lovegood was just as great as I thought it would be.

Harry potter is a good book and one of my favourites of all time. I read this book again in a different perspective and it was mind blowing. This book is really great and what it meant to me was that there are many other people in the world special or not.

Another year older and even darker than the Goblet of Fire, this book continues to story of the boy who lived. The Dark Lord is back, but the Ministry of Magic refuses to accept it. Not only do they set up a professor in the school to monitor and enforce Ministry law, they also take every chance possible, using their newspaper to defame and slander both Harry Potter and Albus Dumbledore.

This book is more mature than even the fourth book. There is more focus on political influence and the flaws of government. With Fudge abusing his power using the fact that the entire Wizarding World doesn’t want the Dark Lord to be back, this book has many nuances that will be lost on younger audience members.

A great continuation of the series with the prose growing up with the main characters and the audience. There is plenty of angst and confusion, which ramps up the drama. The reader gets to find out things along with the main characters. This is a great and pivotal book in the series that shows off the skill of Rowling’s storytelling ability and just how much improvement she’s made in her prose style.

There were a few answers to questions that were created in the first novel. I appreciated some loose ends being tied up.

"Hermione Granger and that time Harry was to Emo to do anything, so I did everything in his name - because I am the power behind the throne clearly! Also, P.S. I fought Death-Eaters and won." - I have always had a love-hate relationship with this book in the series and it is because I also thought Harry was just acting so whinny in it. I just was frustrated at him. It wasn't till now - in my late 20s - that I really understood the significance of what was happening to him in that book. The struggle he has to face is a hard one. I don't want to go into details because that could ruin the book, but let it just be known that I get it now. This book changes your perspective of things and that was needed at the time to lead up into the next two books and the upcoming war.

This is another amazing story by J.K. Rowling but the ending is very heartbreaking

This book was by far my favourite. Although this book is lengthy, Rowling finally gives us all the answers, for example who Sirius is and other background information on other characters. The lead to the climax is quite long, and as I re-read it; I can find many parts that are not important. Reading a long book can also be hard because I was distracted by how much I needed to read, while I was only on the first few chapters. I regret that, because I had to go back and read parts over again. I would advise you to read slower and don’t look ahead. However this book was very entertaining and sets the rest of the series. 4/5 stars

I didn’t expect the Order of the Phoenix to be as exciting as it was, considering its length of 800 pages, but I was surprised. I was able to get through Order of the Phoenix pretty fast and found that there was always something happening and there was never a dull part in the story. This book, in my opinion, was one of the first installment in the Harry Potter series to contain more death and have a darker feel to it. I find it very easy to fall in love with the Harry Potter series and all of its characters, and I think most people who read it will think the same way. I give this book a rating of 9/10 stars and recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the other books.
