There’s a lot going on in this book. More than the usual local town issues. This Ian set in multiple countries with the involvement of different agencies. It’s quite a ride abs Reacher did get a couple things wrong in his assumptions. This…

Nice little mystery manhunt and a terrorist molehill that turns into a smoldering volcano. Reacher once again is the sharpest needle, but then what do you expect?

Well, I have read all previous Jack Reacher books, most of them more than once, so I can safely say that I know the writer and his style, and that of the JR character. Therefore, I have trouble believing that this book was actually…

I have read all 23 Jack Reacher novels and I really disliked this one, in fact I am sure that Lee Child did not write it, perhaps a ghost writer? Not the same caliber of writing and Child never goes into detail re sex scenes, just a hint…

Meh. My least favourite Reacher so far. Just not as compelling.

Book #7 chronologically after "James Penney's New Identity" (1999 edited 2006) and The Enemy (2004) before that, and before The Affair (2011): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Reacher_(book_series)#In-story_chronology

This book was enjoyable and I will continue to read all Lee Child's books. Well written and entertaining. Thank you, Mr. Child!

Child is always an entertaining, fast-paced read even if the McGuffin is straining credulity. So, apart from a few small plot holes, Reacher is able to save the day again.

Very disappointing....expected a much better read.

Worst Reacher book ever, if you don't count the horrible short stories. I am a BIG Reacher fan, in fact my whole family is, but we all agree this one was phoned in by Lee Child. 1 star at the most and that is a reach.

Ok but nothing special, like watching someone playing chess. Lots of players moving around, looking for a needle in a field of haystacks. Of course Reacher finds it with a conclusion that strains disbelief.

Very good chase/suspense mystery; ending could have been improved.

Not like the Reacher books I used to like. This one is lousy.....gross actually. 0 stars

I am not a veteran, nor do I consider myself a military expert in any way. I merely enjoy the Jack Reacher books. That said, I must agree that this installment of the Jack Reacher series was somewhat lacking and there were thing that could…

With Lee Child it's seems lately it's either hit or miss. This is a miss.

Maybe it's just me, but I felt Lee Child is just phoning it in with this book. Premise is ridiculous and it flatlines from there.

Disappointing. jack Reacher as the "Ugly American" in Europe ... :-(

Jack Reacher is at his best in the school of crime a really good "Night School." There are only one or two incidents of violent crime and for the most part Reacher is at his Sherlock Holmes' best. He figures out sequence of events by…

I think I would rather read the back of a cereal box than this peace of work; at least then I would eventually get a prize at the bottom of the box. I am still struggling with finishing the book; given to me by a friend who had bought and…

Giving this one star due to a chapter mid-way through that included what I consider to be explicit, undesirable content describing a woman performing an act of beastiality in a bar in Hamburg, and a few other tasteless references. This…

I have read all of Lee Child's books, and I waited anxiously for this book to be released. What a let down. Who is this guy anyway? For sure not Reacher. I really had to push myself to finish the book. C'mon Lee Child, give the movie…

Child needs an Army advisor from this era, just doesn't ring true. A very unpleasant view of Germany and the Germans.

My husband and I generally enjoy the Jack Reacher books but this one felt as if it were phoned in to fill a promised book a year. Not even close to the good ones. I like the Tom Cruise theory. I'll read the next one but not with the same…
