Description
Through interactive games, such as songs, scavenger hunts, and Anishinaabemowin bingo, participants will have a chance to learn introductory phrases and words in local First Nation, Métis and Inuit languages. A primary focus of this workshop will be on Anishinaabemowin (Ojibwe language).
This workshop is facilitated by Alyssa McLeod, Anishinaabe from Nipissing First Nation; Indigenous Community Engagement Coordinator at Ontario Tech University
