Creative writing, anyone?!

This workshop is provided to you by Word on Hand, and by local facilitator in Creative Writing, Stephanie Curry.

This 4-week workshop will focus on timed prompts, generating new pieces of writing, and sharing your pieces of work (if you're comfortable to do so!). Everything is treated as fiction and confidentiality is essential.

All levels of writers are invited.

This is a program for teens (ages 13-19).

About the Author:

Stephanie Curry is a Caribbean Canadian writer, born in Grenada, who celebrates words in any form. She wrote her first poem at age nine. Her passion is welcoming alive diverse stories of those whose voices need to be heard, as well as those who have already found their own authentic voice in a variety of genres: fiction, non-fiction, memoir and poetry. She is a certified facilitator in the Pat Schneider’s AWA method and has been holding space offering workshops since 2008. This method offers pertinent prompts and gentle feedback encouraging stories to germinate.
