5 Stars!!!!! Fantastic debut novel. I'm only sad that I have to wait at least a year for the sequel :(

OMG! This was a fantastic if dark vision of what the US (and world) could become.
And kudos for the understated sex scene between 2 men!!

I like the action in this series but the heroine is going a bit Bella for my tastes - you have a life without your boyfriend sweetie. Few romances last through university....

I LOVE this book. Picked it up as a lark b/c character has my name but turns out she really doesn't!! Really good read for student book clubs about what total government power could mean. And unlike so many teen books, the romance isn't the main storyline.I LOVE this book. Picked it up as a lark b/c character has my name but turns out she really doesn't!! Cute little mystery where 10-12 year olds will learn some Egyptian mythology and language.

Not sure if it's because this is an abridged version but I was really disappointed. Kinsey's motivation didn't make sense (and she didn't seem to be acting in character) and there were definitely spots where things didn't make sense.

Sad that this is the end. Especially because it feels like there could be another book once you finally find out a bit more of her past.

Slightly convoluted but eventually I got drawn in. Hoping the second book is a faster read.

Didn't live up to the hype. And I couldn't get past the idea that an English university grad didn't have a computer of her own or an email...really??? That was more unbelievable than the tame sex scenes.

AMAZING. I enjoyed this more than any of her books in the last few years (that weren't JD Robb). The main character is a little like how they portray the main character in Bones. I laughed so much :)

Not as cool as I hoped it would be b/c of the series but I am totally curious if the other series she does connect.

FANTASTIC! I cried and laughed.
And it was kinda nice to read a stand alone for a change.

This was a fantastic book! Sorta Buffy-esque which made me nostalgic.
Hoping it becomes a series.

Better than the last few have been but Anita really does need to get over the angst of multiple lovers. Still felt like the story wasn't full conceived though, and it ended really quickly.

Thumbs down. Very derivative superhero fiction, and everything happens too fast.
Prefer her other series but will give the second of this one a try and hope it gets better.

Another intriguing mystery in this procedural series. I liked it more than the last one b/c you didn't get all the info ahead of time to guess the ending.

Amazing! Mallory is in fine form. My only complaint is that there's always so long between the books that I feel as if I've missed something.
Time to start at the beginning again :)

These just keep getting better and better. I really hope we already have the next one and I don't have to wait for it to be published!
