I had to buy this one for my personal collection because it is just that good! Highly recommend especially if you like a narrative that is not traditional in its perspective.

I had heard good things about this book and enjoyed the first couple of chapters. Unfortunately, it unfolded like a bad t.v. movie.

I loved this book, as did my husband and two teenagers. It is now being read by all my family, mother, brothers, including one who loves racing but rarely reads! It has a great title too-why would they change it in later editions?!

Definetely on my list of favorites. It made me laugh and cry and kept my attention to the point that i could not put the book down. Just loved it and gave me an insight ito what dogs are thinking, maybe.

I really enjoyed this book, even though I cried through most of it. I was skeptical when I heard it was told from the dog's point of view, but it was a fabulous read.

I thought this was a good book. I really enjoyed how it was told from Enzo's point of view and the thoughts he shared were humorous. The lives of his humans, though, were happy and then sad, frustrating, and disappointing (and even sadder, I'm sure in-laws like Denny's really do exist).

A tale in which Enzo, a loyal family dog, tells the story of his human family, how they nearly fell apart, and what he did to bring them back together. Enzo knows he is different from other dogs - he thinks and feels in nearly human ways. He has educated himself by watching extensive television, and by listening very closely to the words of his master, Denny Swift, an up-and-coming race car driver.
