Add a CommentAmazing movie! I've seen it so many times but I could still watch it over and over again!! Movies today usually don't even compare to movies like this!! If you haven't seen it, you should definitely see it!
the new one is really good but this one is better! really gives more detail dancing was amazing! good story behind it tooo!!
it was good, you have to really sit down and pay attention and the dancing was sensational!!!
I haven't seen the new version yet, but there's no way that it can capture the feeling that this could really happen in the U.S. This movie has humor and drama and a great soundtrack.
This movie seems like a poor man's Rebel Without a Cause. It even uses the Play Chicken from Rebel. Instead of cars you get farm vehicles. Some of the stuff seemed so unlikely, but I found from Wikipedia there was some basis for the story. It might have been better if they had tried to weave some of the reality from the basis into the movie instead of making a lot of scenes seem like they came from fluffy MTV videos.
cool
A great 80s movie that fans can still rock out to today!
I Like the Idea a lot, it has lots of meaning. The dancing and music is Awesome, Footloose (the song) is FANTASTIC! I listen to it all the time :)
